Miffy, I'm so sorry - I saw you at Compton and while I knew I ought to know you, I never thought to ask you who you were. I think I might even have spoken to Mr GP at the book table.

No problem, Mike. Similar situation here. I did think I might have spotted you but as I said to Mr M didn't want to ask just in case I'd got the wrong person! I've done similar to somebody at Greenbelt once. Terminally embarrassing!

Glad someone else gets embarrassed by these things too! (Though I sometimes wonder what fascinating encounters we miss by being too easily embarrassed...)
