More journeyings last weekend as Mr GP and myself travelled down to the West Country for the farewell Eucharist at the Community of St Francis, Compton Durville, which is closing. Saturday saw a gloriously sunny afternoon, with over 130 people visiting to see the place for the last time and say their goodbyes to the community.
What a stunningly beautiful place. Thank you for sharing, and may God bless the community as they move to other areas.

Miffy, I'm so sorry - I saw you at Compton and while I knew I ought to know you, I never thought to ask you who you were. I think I might even have spoken to Mr GP at the book table.
Peace & all blessings

No problem, Mike. Similar situation here. I did think I might have spotted you but as I said to Mr M didn't want to ask just in case I'd got the wrong person! I've done similar to somebody at Greenbelt once. Terminally embarrassing!

Glad someone else gets embarrassed by these things too! (Though I sometimes wonder what fascinating encounters we miss by being too easily embarrassed...)
